No problem. Looaded in about 4 seconds. [NS 4.79 under MacOS 9.1]
No problem. Loaded in 15 seconds on prodigy network.
No problem, except it turned out to be some boring newspaper and it added a popup window advertising oranges or something.
Worked fine for me. Konqueror 2.2.1 (KDE on Mandrake Linux 8.1).
Speaking of annoying popup windows, (damn, I a drift machine today) what's up with these ones I've started to see where it pops up a window without a frame, so that you can't close it, and have to read through the tiny print to find out how to close it?
took about 30 seconds on a 56k modem with netscape. and i went through japan. no popup for me though ..
Same 30 secs with 56K modem, NS 4.76 on G4 MacOS 9.2.
Loaded ok for me too (Mosaic 2.7b5). Quite a lot of really small images.
no frame? what browser/os/site?
It worked fine for me in Windows 98 SE, IE 5.50.
Mac IE was OK with it.
Hey, you know this is a good scam to boost hit rates on a web page. If you'd sent spam advertising that URL to all of us, none of us would have looked at it, but post a message to a technical board saying it seems to crash some browsers and you'll like help figuring out which ones, and you gets lots of hits.
Like a dozen or so. No big deal.
No problem. Ie 5.5/Win2k
No problem for me here with IE (ver. number)? Win XP, 52.0Kbps actual modem speed. Not sure with download time-- it seemed to be about less than 15 seconds. I doubt boosting number of hits would be much of a worry here, either. So-- why does this worry you personally, beady?
What's the deal with this bad web site? Just DOS it and shut it down early for the night without any backup. Spare the adb and spoil the server. People are too soft these days.
Works fine with Mozilla 0.9.9 Win32 build 2002041408.
