There was no activity in the Grex store this month, so the balances remain at:

                         Cash Stock

We had three new members in March (khyung, lisalj and nraj). We are
currently at 90 members, 88 of whom are paid through at least April 15th.
(The others expired recently and are in a grace period.)

Notes:

- We refunded $6 to a user whose membership was revoked when it became
apparent that the ID he/she submitted had been stolen.

- Otherwise, March was a decent month. I'd like to see the member count
a little higher, but th cash flow has been fine.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in March:

bruin, dpc, ea, janc, jasonash, jplatt, khyung, kintar, lisalj, mooncat,
nraj, premedic, robh, srw, and witling.

Thanks everyone!

I have never heard of such a person. Do you know what userid or login he
used here?

who donated the $141 in miscellaneous donations? was that proceeds from
a sale or somethingmaybe?

#4 of 8 by aruba on Thu Apr 4 13:43:46 2002:

No, it was donations. $1 came from user "premedic", and the rest came from
an anonymous donor, who gave money as a thank-you for Grex becoming 501(c)3.

I think I should warn everyone that so far, April looks like it will be a
very slow month. We have received a grand total of $90 since 4/1.

Nothing to panic about, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

#6 of 8 by dpc on Fri Apr 19 19:55:44 2002:

Hm. Maybe everyone is paying income taxes instead. How does
this April compare with the last couple of Aprils?

#7 of 8 by aruba on Fri Apr 19 21:56:07 2002:

April 2001: Income = $1,162.00
April 2000: Income = $672.21
April 1999: Income = $836.25
April 1998: Income = $1,043.40
April 1997: Income = $108.00

As you can see, April is pretty variable for some reason. That April '97
total was our worst of any month since 1993.

maybe something to do with expected tax refunds and unemployment?
