_The Importance of Being Ernest_ - read the fucking book.
_Insomnia_ - two actors, one insane and the other noted
for chewing the sets. Who is over the top?
Not to miss this one, a definate do. In the spirit
of movies by directors freaked out by long days
- and its in english as a bonus.
_Spirit:The Stallion of the Cimarron_ - kid animi in the
spirit of _Pocohantas_. If you are hitting on

If your are MWK do this and you'll get some.

It's like a divource' only faster.
Well, the "The Importance of Being Ernest" isn't a book exactly. It's a play. Of course the script is available in book form, but it is meant to be performed, not read. I hear the movie doesn't have much to add to the play, but if you want to send the prospective viewer back to the original, I think "see the fucking play" would be the better choice. Your local high school will probably perform it next year if not this year.
The Cimarron is a rather green valley/area in Oklahoma that contains a river by the name. The region is also called the Cimarron. I felt rather comfortable being there once. Probably because it was the most Michigan looking part of Oklahoma.
I haven't seen a movie of The Importance of Being Ernest, but I would think it would not work as well as the play. The play lends itself to "hamming it up", which goes over better live.

This is *My* movie review item - where *I* review the movies. Got it?
well. Colin Firth is in this new version of The Importance of Being Ernest so that is reason enough to see it.
Have you considered that that may not be one of beady's criteria? Have you?!
/holds head in shame no, I was only thinking of myself.
Well, there yah go. _Ocean's 11_ , Nice. The film is actually very simple, no complicated 'con within a con'. The tech with one singular exception is understood by the screenwriters and thus well portrayed. It is an 'actors flik' with much attention to dialog and costume and was probably a shitload of fun to shoot as reflected in the adlibs that made it into the final cut. (My fave is Clooney walking out of prison gates in tuxedo. Pitt says something like "I hope you were the groom".) Some sendups to the original - Angie Dickenson has a cameo. Andy Garcia is... A wonderfully technically competent and well acted film with nothing to say - no 'deep message' just good solid entertainment. Well worth the original admission and well worth the discount price for the VHS/DVD at yer local drug store, bodega, bootleg outlet whatever.
seen the original?
Presumably, since he spotted the sendups to it.
Based on the previews I've sat through, _Spirit: Stallion of the Whatever_ looks like a fantastic candidate for Worst Movie Ever.
