Hi everyone,
I don't know how many of you have been monitoring the Coop conference, but
I had suggested a new conference for chess enthusiasts. The basic functions
of this conference would be:
1. Providing a learning resource for those who want to learn but can't find
a teacher.
2. A way for players to get together and organize games (email, snailmail,
etc...)
3. A forum for discussing strategy and posting games between members.

If anyone is interested in participating in this, has suggestions for it, or
would simply like to play a game, feel free to drop me a line or reply to this
or the Coop post.

It would probably be better served as just an item.  Don't we have a games
conference?

How about linking this item to games cf, fw?

Maybe even a few items.  The music conference easily has five or so items on
british isles folk music.  That doesn't mean we need a british isles folk
music conference, it just means the people in the music conference have
discovered something in common.

That will change, hopefully.
