["rage-a-hol" Joke from the Simpsons show on TV. Chronically irate
Homer is diagnosed as a "rage-a-holic" and complains idiotically that
he can't live without "rage-a-hol." If you spell it "ragahol," Jamie,
it sounds like an alcohol made from rags, or something, and everyone
gets all confused.]

I've always found it annoying that the suffix for an addict is -aholic
instead of -ic, since by that logic someone addicted to alcohol should be an
alcoholaholic. But now I'm starting to sound like Keesan.

That's okay, I've always found it annoying that the suffix for a test of
endurance is -athon, since by that logic a marathon should be a test of how
long you can go on marring. There's gotta be a twelve-step program for this
sort of thing somewhere.

Not to mention -arama and mega- for lavish amounts of anything.
