This quote is from the "official" rules of the game. Note that it
says "proper names" and not "proper nouns":
"Proper names, abbreviations, and punctuation marks (e.g., contractions),
are not allowed." [from /u/rcurl/lettermatch.rules]
Friday is the name of a day of the week. I'll not accept it as
a legal guess unless someone can convince me that's taking the
rule one step too far.

I say give it to him, Kent. It's possible to conclude what it will get,
even if you don't ...

Well, since you can tell what 'friday' would get without me telling
there's no point to me posting the result, other than to encourage
more responses of a similar nature.

Hmmm...I hope that was a good guess and not an obvious choice
from the guesses preceding...if it was obvious, I'd like to know
why ;)
Your turn jingle!

I have one thing to say before jingle gets started and that is: "Proper names"
is bad grammar. It means *EXACTLY* the same thing as "Proper Nouns" though
it does so in a grammatically incorrect way.

Fine. I really don't care to argue the grammar of the rules to this
game. 'friday' is still right out.

Re. 962 kentn, it was just a lucky guess. I was hoping for a 2, maybe a
3 if I was real lucky.
OK, I'm thinking of a 6 letter word. Let the guesses begin!

Re 967 I couldn't find gotcha in my dictionary. Vidar, if you meant that
to be a 6 letter word guess, would you care to guess again?
