Well,I have found that on some unix machines (HP-UX is a prime example)
that console terminal hangs are far more common than system hangs.
It also happened to me on a solaris box. Console login broke,
but I could ssh in.

Some versions of Linux I've worked with were also prone to the console
hanging or getting stuck in unusable states.

On the Backtalk side, I've been experiencing more "DNS Not Found"
erors than usual. In fact, I got one before getting to this page, and
another after posting a reply.

I've been getting them too until about two hours ago. Now, I think grex
is just back to its overloaded self.

At 11am, for me, it was both telnet connection not found and web site "server
not available".

And just after entering that, there was no grex response for about a minute.

Apparently it's happening enough that I received a personal phone call at work
about it from a user. :) We'll get it figured out somehow.
