what airline do you take when you fly here?

response 826 of 1000: Mark Unseen   Jun 7 13:12 UTC 2002

Besides, Clees has been here a couple times before... Though he does
tend to stay with rather suspicious individuals...

IHB- it's Friday, I'm going to my sister-in-law-to-be's bridal shower
tomorrow, and in general- life isn't all bad.

A cat and a gem, to be precise.
I can't wait to meet you again.

I will be flying Lufthansa with a layover in Frankfurt.
It's way cheaper than KLM

Sindi's remark was pure nonsense. I have been going to Detroit frequently
for 50 years and never met a criminal. I have even wandered around in some
of the "bad" sections alone after dark and didn't feel unsafe in the least.

It must be true. One reads about very few white females being mugged
while wandering around the "bad" sections of Detroit at night.

New iced tea discovery: Twining's Earl Grey. Also, Twining's
Black Currant.

I'm visiting friends in Ann Arbor tonight and tomorrow as part of a
post-breakup-dance-my-ass-off weekend.

When in September, Rick?

(As it happens, I'm going to Europe in September to meet me new
grandshild...but if we're here at the same time, I'd love to see you again!)

I like Earl Grey tea, but it never occurred to me to ice it.

It wouldn't have occurred to me either. We were visiting my
mother-in-law in Philadelphia, and when I wanted to make iced tea
for the 12 hour drive home, Twining's Earl Grey was all that
was available. Serendipity.

I am a herbal tea man myself. I grew peppermint once and found making
looseleaf herbal tea quite enjoyable. I'll have to try others.

You can pick your own linden tea in early July, or spearmint, or rose hips.

Last night was the first full night of *good* sleep I've had in over a month.
Yay friends.

The Wings are on at eight! :)

After the Wings spank the Hurricanes, we're going to City Club so I can work
off frustrations through vodka and dancing. Again, yay friends!

The funk I've been in for the past week or two seems to be lifting. It's nice
to be able to get myself out of bed in the morning.

IHB my scanner has been resuscitated by re-installing the driver. The FAQ
on scanner troubleshooting a competitor's scanner said that the grinding gear
noise is usually a com port error. I keep my fingers and eyes crossed that
this fix continutes to work.

Coming to A2: September 14, leaving September 22. It's a quick dash
into Ann Arbor so to say. But still. I didnīt want to pose myself too
much on my hosts. Not only that last week of August I'll be cycling
mountaions in the north of Italy. It's a kind of Two holiday package I
was planning to do last year when mr. Laden prevented it.
My intention was to leave at 23 September (Sunday), but yhte online
booking site redirected the date into September 22. I guess I'll be
missing a blue's game once again.

Got to actually teach an Aikido class at the dojo today! I've been warming
up a class for the head instructor every week, but this was my first (subbing
for the regular instructor) start-to-finish class.

We just acquired a very large kit for building up to 12 pentium computers,
depending on how many of which part we find working, thanks to the generosity
of LK, who did not want to see the stuff dumped. Another grexer has first
dibs on two (he assumed they were pre-assembled) and we have offered to
upgrade someone for whom we put together a P90 last year. Perhaps half of
these will work. Some are 486s but there are extra pentium motherboards (sans
cpu) and extra cpus.
