Yup, I thought crepes was a 2. My confusion stemmed from the mistake
carson made on amazed. I had used that information in my logic, and
when I backed it out after the error was revealed, I missed some of it.

All those great words....but aruba got it - TREPAN. Good work! Now,
what do you have for us to hone our literacy upon?

Cool! Good job aruba! When I hear "trepan" I think brain surgery,
though I suspect Rane was trying to be a trickster...

Could somebody explain the joke about 'trepan' to a poor newcomer?

I didn't get the trepan "joke" either. A trepan is a type of auger, or
to trepan is to bore a hole. I think the reference is to trepanning,
which was a prehistorical practice of cutting holes in the brain case
for not very clear reasons.

The rules for letter match are in /u/rcurl/lettermatch.rules They
are written for the 5 letter version we started with, but we have
"graduated" to 6 letters. "Street" is a fine word, but I think it
will get only a 2 ;->. Whether this game is addicting or not, you
will have to ask the participants. It *is* educational - you'll
learn more words than you ever knew existed.
