T.E.U.O. is pissed because I'm no longer planning on visiting her in
Yellowstone. Apparently "we're broken up" and "I have no money" aren't valid
excuses. I understand that the first one isn't always enough, but the second
should settle it.
Still, the conversation went better than I expected.

I empathize both on women problems and insomnia, having been there
(I've resolved the women problems, but I can't seem to escape
insomnia).

IBB I can't go camping with friends this weekend due to overtime. The
overtime is nice, but I was really looking forward to that trip.

There will be more camping trips, Sarah . . . just think about camping
in the fall, with the leaves changing colors.

Gaahh. I'm sorry, greg. I guess that's extra motivation to get on with
looking for the next one, eh?
I'm still annoyed at probable road trip. While it will be fun and I wouldn't
want to miss it, there are also other things I don't want to miss...chemistry
that's finally working and getting me back into the swing, for one.

Good luck on the next steps, Greg. I'm sorry you weren't the one who got to
decide when to end the relationship.
I'm bummed for 2 reasons: super hot weather, and no one who seems to want
to have a water gun fight, and the next two weeks are looking to be very
likely to produce insanity (the week before finals and finals week, I'm taking
9 credits in a half semester and working).

so my ticket should be arriving today and i have to sign for it but my
doorbell is broken and i can't fix it and i don't know what to do except maybe
hang a string out of my window with something noisy attached at my end and
leave a note for the guy to yank it but that's kind of retarded.

Not exactly bummed, more anxious really, wondering how well I'll adapt
to being incredibly busy this summer in Aspen. I'll have about five hours
per day of regularly scheduled classes, then on top of that as yet
unknown hours of coachings, rehearsals, performances, 20 hours of tech
work on the 3 operas during the summer, etc., etc. And voice lessons.
And ushering some concerts for extra money, and teaching a few voice
lessons. I'll probably love it, but right now I'm a bit worried.
The schedule gets started on Monday...
