Jim, could you find a reference for firefox? Onelook doesn't find it in any
dictionaries except Wikipedia, where it's capitalized.

Wikipedia says "Firefox" is a name for the Red Panda, but no other online
dictionaries seem to know it, and Wikipedia capitalizes it. Dunno.

I found the answer. References to the animal have it as two words "fire
fox"; I found the following comment on someone's web board:
"Fire fox" is actually the lesser panda's name in Chinese; it's never
called that in English, which is one reason it makes a distinctive name
for the browser.
