(The PROTEUS plate reminds me of a former girlfriend who had a pet
chamelion named Proteus.)

I think I saw INBLISS this evening, but by the time I realised it was
a personalised plate it was too far off to read easily.

re #84:
I wonder how far you have to get from Ann Arbor before the reader's
presumption on such a plate is that the driver is a comic book fan
and not a college sports fan..

Re: #88, Mayor John H. Logie is a republican, but partisen politics hasn't
been evident in the city commision meetings for years. (maybe the
commissioners have a different opinion.)
An electrician friend, doing work for the city, was getting a personal visit
from the mayor at the work site (city bridges) to make sure the government
was gettingits money's worth of work. When he was satisfied, he introduced
himself to a passerby and asked for comments of city services and it was
NOWHERE near an election! ya gotta admire an offical who won't hide.

I spotted a few while driving to Alabama on Tuesday, but I didn't note the
states of issue: 8DAD, BD WLSN (made me think of a Tanya Tucker song)
and CR SLK. Here in Huntsville, I've seen a couple, but the one that comes
to mind is MKDSMOM
