although if TS chooses to appoint, he will have voted, and his appointment
will be the result of voting among a constituency of one. =^)

I definitely do *not* favor a general vote as a way to choose a Co-op FW.
I think that will scare away too many people who might be very good at the
job.
Also, I favor set term limits. I think it would be good if each FW had a term
of two years and we got a new FW annually.
Just my opinion . . .

Scott is the PResident of Grex... coolio.
I didn't know that. I'm glad it's someone I'm on good terms with. =^)
(wait, that wasn't my smiley, that was carson's! egads! help me! =} )
All votes ust have seconds, carson, and Toasty isn't allowed to
second himself, ergo, it won't be a *real* vote. *nodnodnod*

????? If it gets to that point, I certainly hope that the
entire Board will choose, not just one member.

It is "usual" (that may not include Grex) to delegate to the president
most appointments - the operative word is delegate: give the poor president
something to do that has the appearance of power but really isn't.

(Technically, Scott is the president and chairman of the board
of Cyberspace Communications, the corporation that runs Grex.
The bylaws provide that the board chair and president are the
same person.)

Scott being president means that if grex is prosecuted by the fbi for CDA
violations, he gets hauled away first

Hmmm...maybe we could get a president who is *already* in prison on a life
sentance, and thus save ourselves lots of worry.

I trust TS is thinking over whether to make a decision, and which
decision needs or doesn't need to be made.

I think you ought to consider going it alone, esp. since that's how
it's been the past several weeks.
