Whoops....I didn't mean to rewrite the questions: I had put them in
the editor to refer to them, and then forgot to zap them. Mea culpa.

(1) The bomb discussion wouldn't bother me at all, and
(assuming I was reading Agora for some reason >8) I'd ask
that the sexual discussion be taken to either the Sexuality
or (better) AfterDark conference.

(2) I'd have no problem serving under those circumstances.
Like rcurl, I don't think the law would stand.

(3) I can't think of any such circumstances off-hand.

(4) Definitely not. I would consider it a lot less annoying
than most of the folks who come knocking on my door. >8)

At the risk of being accused of abusing Grex resources - here is some more
information on the Cyberporn bill pending in Congress. Note that those who
cherish freedom of expression and thought should call the members of the
conference committee (Senate) in their jurisdiction (you are registered to
vote? I not, do so! This is grown-up stuff.) The following is over 230 lines
plus/minus:

response 81 of 85: Mark Unseen   Dec 15 12:09 UTC 1995

It is not. It the fault of the Christian Right and the Congresspersons who
want to be reelected, no matter what. <I may just pout!> I see where dpc is
coming from but this information seemed important enough to post here since
the discussion was trending that way. Sorry to disrupt the item. I want to
move some of these discussion to the Commnets conf. soon. Issues like this
seem to naturally spill over into an election issues / positions conference.

Just kidding, Arnold...it is an important issue and requires its own
Item. I think it was just that the "candidate survey" got interrupted
with facts.... B^\

I know, rane. Yeah, those pesky facts cause lots of problems. The hard thing
is to chase them out from their hiding places -- they are clever at remaining
hidden. ;-)

response 84 of 85: Mark Unseen   Dec 16 13:48 UTC 1995

Excuse me, but I am hard pressed to name any "survey" so blasted
important that _this_ should not take precedence!
The CC is not fooling around. I have recieved much literature from
them, and this fits their plans perfectly.

it's moot at this point, but separatte positngs/links would have
spread the word much better as a separate item.
