I think you were heading from the Red Hawk; we were headed towards it. :)
I hate honking, too. Horns are for warning of traffic hazards.

Forgot to mention it before, but a week ago today I spotted Gelinas at
the Sailing Club booth while the Beau and I were at Art Fair, would
have said hello- but Joe was talking to someone.

That's no excuse. We could have used the traffic. :)
Sorry I missed you. :(

Saw a guy walking into the Union wearing a Grex tshirt.
Said he wasn't a member though: "my girlfriend found the shirt", he said.

I had a similar experience yesterday. Around 3, by the library, black Grex
T-shirt. I said "Grexer spotting" in a loud voice and the guy never even
looked at me. .

If you're in ann arbor, it was probably the same guy.
I'm going to assume Rane meant 'peace', not 'police'.

gelinal & aruba had to go back for the board meeting. Clees and I had dinner
at the Frankenmuth Brewery, a huge new brewpub on the northern edge of the
tourist district. Food & beer comparable to Grizzly Peak, I guess. Turned
out the decaf was regular, although I didn't figure that out until 2am or so.

(not really a sighting, but eskarina and I were on an outing at Chicago's
Ed Debevic's this evening with a large group and were seated at the very
same tables that had hosted a GoG some five years previously.)

Well about 15 minutes ago i spotted Damon Andre on an AATA bus. Kinda
suprised, because that is the last place i would think of running into him,
but it was still nice.

That's because Mom is mean and insists on sleeping in on her day off rather
than getting up and driving him to work, I am also mean and make him come home
on his own as well. Poor boy, having such a mean mommy.

It's not the making him go to and from work on his own that is mean, it
is the not buying him a car.
