I'm going to see a midnight showing of Star Wars ep. 2 tonight. Normally I
wouldn'd bother, but the friend who invited me said that the superfans wearing
the costumes are fun to watch... like seeing 3 Obi-wans lined up at the
urinals in the bathroom. ;)

You never know. Try clever disguises or security cameras--you'd be surprised
at what you can do if you're willing to forgo ethics and the law.
I had a rather good time at the movie, and I suspect the lack of sleep will
wind up being worth it.

IHB I caught up with an old friend tonight. He found me through Yahoo
Messenger and gave me lots and lots of gossip updates. :)

Happy because there is nothing seriously wrong with my cat. Got home and
found a fair amount of blood on the floor - found the source to be Guinness
- flipped out - she was fine (of course) - took her to the vet - she most
likely got bit my something (my guess, one of the other cats). They shaved
the area and she's on antibiotics. Not a cheap visit, but not as bad as it
could have been - and she's ok - the most important thing.

Jim and I also had no cavities, and Jim now has a better hauling bike with
a bicolor frame, sort of like those sixties cars. And we 'fixed' our friend's
Win98 computer by instructing him NOT to enter his ISP password when it asked
for Network password but to hit ESC instead.

Cal Munson took the action from my piano (spinet) to his workshop today.
Looks like repairs won't be too difficult: a little oil, some filing of
felt, and tighten some screws. And tuning won't be too difficult either;
one attempt should do it. (We were afraid it was so flat that two visits
would be required.) Other, the local number won, but I made a note of both.

IHB yesterday, after work, made a cycling tour untill sundown in the
rural areas north of Amsterdam in the compay of a good friend. The
weather was ever so agreeable.
