Well, that was quite the malignant word, so it certainly was fitting.
I know where everyone else was at--I had the same list of pho* words that
I knew were no good, but a bit of detective work in regard to the
remaining possible letters in the last three positions, and some study
with an OED volume in lap, and phooka fit quite well.  The keys after
you figure out that pho are the first three letters are "pilori" and
"cranks/pranks", BTW, although the other guesses did eliminate quite a
few letters.  Good word!  I'll have a new word next time I log in.
Probably not nearly as obscure, though...  :-)
