No, it's impossible <nearly> for a cat to flush. There have been a few
doccumented cases acording to various cat manuals.

My cat when I was younger used to flush the toilet all the time. He
thought it was some sort of cool game.

There's even a pet training school that will teach your cat to use the
human toilet and flush afterwards.

I've read that it's nearly impossible but if people are doing it, all
the more power I guess.

their damned business before I can use the bathroom!

I named Cloud Chaser, Cloud Chaser because I got him as an adult (rescued)
and one of his eyes has a cloud in it from a fight sometime before his rescue.
His eye was kind of sickly when I first got him but he is fine now. :)
He is also the sweetest cat you could imagine. :)

My babies are 6 months this week and 3 years in a month or two. Unfortunatly,
Tanis, my baby boy, is 8 lbs. going on 9. Precious, my full grown girl, is
8 lbs and has been for about 2 years. Tanis is going to be a monster. My
father says that he is going to be roaring soon, but he doesn't roar, or even
meow...he squeaks.

Precious is a momma's-kitty. She cuddles momma, follows me around, and loves
me. She and Tanis do get special food every once and a while, oter than dry
food. Tanis is a boy...he likes to be pet when he wakes up, he'll cuddled
once and awhile, but on the whole is spreads out on the floor (he doesn't curl
up at all, unless he's VERY asleep) and watches stuff. He worships Precious,
and when he is upset runs to her. When I do things like cuddle him, or clip
is toenails, he cries out, and she looked at him the other day, yawned in his
face, and did something else. He looked so heartbroken.

I have two kitties. My baby girl, Siouxsie, is three now...she's a Siamese,
but she doesn't yowl or act mean. My baby boy, Fantis, is a year old and
resembles a Russian Blue...but he's more of a mutt cat. They mostly sit around
and nap, but they'll play if you get out a piece of string or tempt them with
treats.
ashke
response 73 of 77: Mark Unseen   Aug 25 15:07 UTC 2000

It is highly debateable, because as MoonKittyCat will attest too, I can be
with my kitties and talk to them and be wonderful, but I do "play the pet
field" and go into "OH WHAT A CUTE DOGGIE" mode very easily. That puppy was
SO cute, too...and she thought I was such a good dog, and played very well.
Hope I get to see the fuzz-butt today.

Now, morgan, is Siouxsie a banshee too? <grins>
albaugh
response 74 of 77: Mark Unseen   Aug 26 06:13 UTC 2000

The polictically correct way to pronounce Siouxsie is Lakotasan,
especially in Japan...

I really enjoy being around dogs, specially Max cause he thinks I'm
part of his herd and he's just soooo sweet. I just happen to prefer
cats. What can I say?
