sarsar 6 aruba
I could ask for a citation, but when the word is correct, there isn't much
point. Besides, it is pretty good going to just deduce it (though I have
not checked if the conclusion is unique). A sarsar is a "cold, whistling
wind" (that's what we were having when this game started, as I think I
hinted). It is also spelled sansar, and is from the Arabic. It is in
the Funk and Wagnalls New College Stndard Dictionary (1947).

Yes, it had to be sarsar. It was "forage" that told me the third letter had
to be r. Wow, that was a long one - 25 guesses. I wonder what the record is?
In any case, I am thinking of a word with a perfect number of letters.

What do folks think about this: suppose we restart this item soon and then
ask Jeff Kaplan to link it to Intro? (I don't think he'll want to when it's
as big as it is now.) That might get us some new Grexers, and new 6-letter
word players.
