It's not very hard.

Whoo Whoo.

Some of us see eachother face to face, but some Grexers are too
geographically distant to do that.

How many users are on grex?

raven
response 56 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 1 23:38 UTC 1995

There are thousand of accounts on Grex. It's rather like a hive mind,
we all live in fiberglass cubicals in Neo-Ann Arbor and live on algae.

So, you like us, huh?

response 58 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 2 00:41 UTC 1995

Sure. Any group that can stand the infernal exiles from hell (and
the WELL) is worth noting.

brenner, humdog, juls, thanne, vsclyne, and bunn would scare *anyone*.

What happens when we type "party"
srw
response 61 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 2 02:00 UTC 1995

I have heard reports from afar that party is reeling from the effects
of the April Fool Elf.

Perhaps the simultaneous entry of our new guests into party
might have a similar effect. Would it survive? Adapt?

Start your party comments with a blank, and wait until the noises
are a little less "fool" ish to play with those.

yes well, we summoned one of the locals,
and he did not appear...

raemo, please make note of that...

Mistress,,

I beg your forgiveness.

I am a fool.

Upon passing the gates to this new land I happened upon a conference where
strangers were plentiful but knowledge a comodity. I bleeted into the room
asking where I might find She-who-hums not knowing that they were unworthy of
hearing of your name.

dear Alchemist, we have found thee,
and it delights us.

have they fed you?
are you warm and comfortable?

raemo
response 65 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 4 05:18 UTC 1995

Mistress,

I am indded warm and sated

Many questions have I concerning this quadrant of the ether.

Mistress, what is Grex? Is it organic? Is it to be feared? Can it be slain
should your will beckon such a deed? Many Wellian compatriots have I sen here
but more strangers than not have passed by without the tip of a hat. Their
rudeness annoys me...
humdog
response 66 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 4 12:13 UTC 1995

the Grex is slowly, yea, verily, slaying itself...

raven
response 67 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 4 23:11 UTC 1995

Grex though uncomley and slow wilt surely route around any attempts
to slay her profoundly slow CPUs. BTW welcome to Grex raemo, the dog who
hums has been awaiting your presence.
sdober
response 68 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 5 00:50 UTC 1995

Raven speaks well. The grex is as the hydra.

Only slower.

response 71 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 5 16:24 UTC 1995

Many attempts to slay the Fearsome Grex have been attempted;
but all were in vain, as the would-be heroes have all died of a ripe
old age waiting for there hack to complete.
raemo
response 72 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 6 05:44 UTC 1995

So then the search for a faster CPU is not unlike searching for the Grail...

raven
response 73 of 133: Mark Unseen   Apr 6 17:58 UTC 1995

Yes but unlike the grail the faster CPU is in the sweaty hands of the
fair legions of staff. Ofcourse it will take many moons to install the damn
thing.
