my words. They were meant to refer to the person who entered the
response they mentioned, not the subject of that response.
A subtle error, but then you probably knew it all along. :)
When are you going to tell me what's eating you, or do you just
assume I'm smart enough to figure it out for myself?

Gerald, I don't think I'm ever going to be able to convince you
that I'm not picking on _you_ personally, or that I'm not picking
on you _solely_, or that you really shouldn't be so paranoid and
defensive, so I"m not going to bother. You seem to be of the mind
that I consider you worth bothering about; I don't, for the most
part, so I'll stop the little nude-caught-in-the-spotlight pose
and simply speak my mind even if I think it'll piss you off. I
think that'll keep us both happier, don't you think?

Hmm.. perhaps I'm recalling incorrectly, but I believe what carson
was saying by the pine-mail-elm remark has to do with the fact that selena
said she'd take this up with him in mail..
Because of this, I was a little surprised at her response, as well as
I am sure he was. I do, however, appriciate her getting it out, so that I
have an inkling as to what is going on as well.
Although I believe this is what bothered carson THIS time.

re #58: I was referring to the inefficiency of posting an item in *Sexuality*,
of all places. Last time I checked, Sexuality wasn't exactly the spot
for farewells, esp. defective ones. I was suggesting that sending mail
to the people that might be affected would have been better (and less
annoying from my end, but I digress), and that if there were really all
that many people who cared (boy, they're aren't that many here...),
then an item in Agora, which is much more public would have been just
as effective. I didn't suggest such wizardry as, oh, the vacation
program, because that would require some technical skill that isn't
necessarily present among primary poster. The other venues I mentioned
were.
I'm beginning to think that this is a moot point. The farewell was obviously
a hoax. I think it's time to get back to discussing sexuality instead of
generating this noise. It's become painfully obvious that Tweedledum and
Tweedledee aren't going to be convinced, and, since I can't read their
responses anyway, I'm not going to continue trying. I've made my point.

Carson, hon, you forget (as others do) that not everyone is on Agora.
It's called demographics. Selena frequents the Sex conf. Therefore,
it stands to reason that the Sex conf would reach the largest number
of her friends. If she doesn't post regularly to Agora (and I don't
know if she does... I don't go on there, and haven't been since the
MLady tragedy), it seems pointless for her to post a goodbye there.
Name-calling again? Hardly polite. Tsk, tsk.
It *may* turn into a sincere goodbye if you don't *drop* it. Stop
defending yourself. The people who cared gave up listening so you're
just pissing off the roly-poly twins all the more.

I'm calm, Popcorn, so I don't feel a neeed to be chilled-out.
I'm teasing because CArson seems so easy to tease, but that's
not a good thing for me to be doing, so I'll go do something

Hmm.. I'd say that the reason for me entering this here was, like
brighn said, 'cause I'm never on Agora, 'cept for Mlady's passing..
But I've got the sneaky suspicion that carson's twitted me out, so
I don't see any point in keeping all that up.
I do take offense at being called a hoaxter, when I entered this
item in all sincerity.. at that point, I never expected the problem'd get
resolved so soon, and I expected it'd be awhile until I saw my friends
here again, so, to make sure I wasn't worrying these people, I let them
know.
If I was gomma go for the attention getting that I've been accused
of, this would've been in Agora. That was never my point.
Now, on a lighter note...
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, EVERYONE!
Yeah, carson, even you, if you are still letting my responses
through. I really don't understand why you turned so vicious, but it
really doesn't matter, 'cause I still think of you as a friend, even if

Hello to anyone who is still reading this item. I have been reading through
every single item in this cf, and I feel the need to post some thoughts here...
Carson> Unfortunately, I have never met or seen your posts before, and all I
have to judge you on is your posts in this item. Needless to say, I do not
have a high opinion of you. Rude? Yes. Unfair? Yes. But, true? Yes. Perhaps you
do not agree with Selena's decision to publically declare herself gone from
Grex. Perhaps you do not agree with Brighn and Gerund's attempts to show you
they did not share your opinion. But you know, I did not begin holding ill will
towards you until I saw repeated insults, not just to Selena anymore for what
she had originally posted, but now personal attacks and repeated insults. I do
not wish to flame any further, for this is what this post is, clear as day. But
I think you should go back and read your posts, and perhaps when you can back
your opinions up calmly and humanely, perhaps then I will remove the twit I
have placed on your name.
Everyone else> I personally apologize for this message/post, but I feel it was
needed. I can not understand why this system is beginning to feel as if it is
open season now on everyone else...Now that Selena is back, perhaps we should
welcome her, since she IS our friend, and not so much worry about this silly
little mess anymore.
