sorry for sidetracking the discussion. I'll try to be more careful
in the future.
I couldn't care less either way, whether a ".yeswrite/.nowrite" were
made available or not. If it were available, I might use it. it's not
now, but I seem to do OK.

If user horny@here (grex) doesn't stop ntlaking me... I'm going
to shoot him (this is going on RIGHT now) please do SOMETHING
about this! (not just this specific case! it's at least 3 or 4 people
a day, talks, writes, tels... asagg! I can;t even do my confing
with my chats on but I don't want to be inaccesible to friends
or serious acquaintances.

times but oh well. see this is a problem...
maybe they don;t have such obvious names, but there
are a lot of guys who might as well on grex.
(and hey if any women are doing this they're jerks too

I don't doubt you did tell him a dozen times. These guys
know just enough English to annoy, but they don't know the
meaning of the word "no". >8(
(I almost think that any woman who gets this sort of treatment
should post a response here, just to make sure everyone on

user id "hem" every time I login sends me a tel (including this one)
though I have asked this person not to and said I don't want to talk
a zillion times on 2 different logins. (the tell is usually like
"how are you...shall we talk"
and when i say nope, nothing happens

udaywig. asked me via tel's for c-sesx, i said no privately
and in party, and he asked me again. i told him more forefully
no... (fuck off <smack> is closer to specific there> and he
started talking about how he could fuck me and how my breasts
tasted. yuck. (I'm going to do this every time someone does
this to me until there's a solution to it)

in udaywig's case, when jenna switched channels so she could shell
out to here and post the above, udaywig *followed* her and continued
hitting on her. i followed udaywig and told him i was her boyfriend,
that she'd said to back off, that we were close personal friends with
half of baff, and that we were well-versed on the system's sexual
harassment policy (hey, i didn't tell him what the policy *was*),
and not only was he vaguely unimpressed, but as soon as jenna started
talking again, he started up with the rather overt csex, saying the
reasoin he was doing it was because jenna needed to get fucked.
In short, some people just don't get it. Can we have that .nowrite
filter now? *g*
(incidentally, udaywig finally stopped bothering jenna when i lead
him back to party and listed all the unattached females...)

after the last episode with hrony, when i logged on to day he telled
me asking for cybersex (last time it was ntalks) I'm sure I;'m not alone
I just want to make a point. I havn;t been logging on very often
a night, when I did, it was even worse. I don;t care where these people
are from, I just want them off my back so I can read my conferences in
relative peace.
I actually think a yeswrite list would be better than a nowrite list.
Although it would keep out any nice nromal people who also happened to
want to talk, it would stop all harasment of this nature before it
even happened once.
Either feature could be abused and cause lots of pain for people
(I've seen it on other systems) but this whole thing is way too bothersome.
Lately I've been coming tto grex mostly for conferencing
and these horny idiots aren;'t allowing me to do it efficeintly & are making
it even slower
with their chats and ntalks and writes than it was before.
