On a 'Vette: GOOD BY
(Appropriate. After it left the cloverleaf and merged with traffic,
I never saw it again.)

Re 56: the final character was an open circle. I've seen one license plate
with a slashed circle, but this wasn't it. So go with kn8o.

Re #55 -- that last one sounds more to me like a preemptive salvage operator.

Driving south on Monday, I saw an SUV pulling a fairly large motorboat. It's
license plate was NO SAIL, a Michigan Splendor plate.
In Alabama, I saw LI LAW and T1DFAN. I wonder if the first belongs to a
lawyer specialising in liability?
I also saw RATEDPG and GAB FAN, but I don't remember which states issued them.
Driving around town yesterday, I saw BEI BEI and LST WRD. Finally, STOUGH
on a Ford truck.

This morning I saw NEOLORD. Not sure what that means. I also saw FIX ALL
on a van featuring, among other blandishments, the amusing slogan: "Kan we
fix it? Yes we can!"

this was weird...
Ohio plate and it said GO BLU
and was plastgered with stickers advertising that school up there
Now that's someone who needs to be relegated to north of the border.
Ohio sells plates with UM and MSU, as well as selected Ohio colleges.
