also, I've noticed that the forecast in Sandusky for saturday has changed from
partly cloudy to isolated t-storms. I'm not sure whether "isolated" calls
for a reschedule as of yet or not, but I thought I'd put it out there.
Does some other day besides Saturday work better for people? Sadly, I'm
booked for most of the remainder of June...
maybe the 29th?

you know, its funny, cause I went into the hour by hour forecast for Saturday,
and every hour says sunny or mostly sunny.
In any case, it might be good to pick a rain date.
We'll get a better weather prediction tomorrow, anyhow.

"Isolated thunderstorms" are exactly that: isolated. They grow up on their
own, from local conditions. Unlike the ones that are part of a frontal system
and so move across the area. So the two predictions, "Isolated thunderstorms"
and "mostly sunny" are not contradictory. (The heat from the latter provides
the energy for the former.)
Such storms usually pass fairly quickly; I, personally, would not be inclined
to plan my activities around them.

No, not totally stag... I bothered a friend of mine from high school into
going with me. We had fun. The park was a little hot, and a little crowded.
I'd be up for going again, but I'll wait for noise from the crowd before
setting another date and asking for time off of work.

Cedar Point isn't on the list of things I'm likely to make it
to this summer, unfortunately. I've got too much else to do
with my weekends (unless and until someone nibbles on my ear
and whispers the suggestion that she'd like to go there with
me... which has about a snowball's chance in hell, it seems ;-).

Re #66: Hey, I have my price. However, the nibbler has to put
up a deposit of sincerity and commitment that makes it a poor
investment for someone just trying to get a group together.
(I really enjoyed my last trip to Cedar Point, but it was with
someone very special.)

I'll be up for a cedar point trip sometime when the money starts flowing back
in and I'll have time off work
... I'll need to remember to bring plenty of sunblock though, especially since
I'll have a nice scar on my face that doesn't need to mutate thru to much
exposure to sun

On an absolutely unrelated-to-Grex note, I appear to have been dragged into
a potential trip to Cedar Point this upcoming Monday or Tuesday. (We chose
a weekday on purpose, in case you're wondering...)Anyway, anyone interested
should probably bug scott, as he's the only person participating in this
item that I'm fairly likely to have contact with. :) I don't usually Grex
while in Michigan. :)
