You're not old until you start thinking of Bill Knapp's as *the* place
to dine on Saturday night.

And now I think the screeches of tortured stereos sound hideous to my ears.
raven
response 58 of 139: Mark Unseen   Apr 5 05:58 UTC 1995

Yes but you see the point is to bring the stereo to just the point
of melting, then quench it with some cool scat tunes sha be do-wop.

Ah, then raven, you Must be talking about a mere Radio.
raven
response 60 of 139: Mark Unseen   Apr 5 18:39 UTC 1995

Yes a mere radio with 12" woofers. :-)
nephi
response 61 of 139: Mark Unseen   Apr 5 22:48 UTC 1995

Ah, then. I see you Were talking about a mere radio. Twelve inch
woofers do not a stereo make, while twelve inch woofers usually a
stereo break.

Hi. I'm Claire. I guess I am much to young to be considered a "hippie".
(Seeing as how I am 14)
But I am a vegetarian, and I try to be "creulty free", and (w/ the
exception of dying my hair using henna) I try to be as natural as possible.
I'm not sure if I'm welcome here or not. But I wanted to find out what
this conf was about.
PLease don't let "hippie" die. You all have very good ideas and very
strong beliefs. I'm glad I came here and read these idems. =)
I'm sorry I sound so odd, don't mind me.
Well... thank you for your time...
fare thee well,
con amor,
Claire

Indeed we do, Claire -- and we'll try to keep it less filthy than usual
while you're here. (Slightly hopeless, but we'll try!)

Yes, welcome. And we respect your earnestness, too. But we like silliness
even more.

Welcome to Grex, Claire. You are not only in the Hippie conference,
but also in the (in)famous Accordion conference.

Don't be confused, dear Claire.

The login for accordion really should contain an
appropriate warning....something like "Enter at
your own risk."

Where's the humming puppy? She could take care
of that.

Hippie won't die, if people are interested. If they're not ... well it could.
Someday, in my copious spare time between two jobs, two kids and a handful
of hobbies I may even have the time to try to spark interest myself.
Meanwhile, if you have the time and interest, please feel free to start
conversations.

Wow! I feel special! =)
Well... um... first off, don't worry about keeping this conf clean for my
benifit. :} Trust me, I'll be okay.
Second off, thank you all. I feel loved! <g>
I'm glad hippie/accordian won't die.
What shall I start I topic about?
(Oh yes, and BTW, I cna be very silly when I'm not this tired.)
Well, bye bye!
