Ahh...vampires...fun...
First, a question.
Vampires, in romanian mythology, are portrayed as being repelled by garlic.
And yet romanian food is often very high in garlic. Now wouldn't some of that
garlic pass into the blood of the romanian populace, rendering them inedible to
vampires?

Perhaps it's the raw garlic? Cooked, garlic loses some of its edge - perhaps
some obscure chemical in raw garlic that is destroyed by heat?
