i just meant to set up an example. an example of how many things go under the
name of 'punk' but mabye aren't the kind of music you like, or even the
kind of music you hate.....

guns and ross suck, and i am ashamed to have there name
mentioned in a punk conferance. arrrggghhhhhhhh!!!.
any one like the new beastie boys album? it is really good.
there going back to punk, slowly but surely. they never were rap,
thy have always been punk. check out "some old shit", a new
release of there old, old , great stuff. godd, how come all
good music dies in 1989?

well...fisrt of all this isn't a punk conference...it's a punk item...and
second...i believe the album is called "Some old bullshit" <jimbob holds
the album up to the light> yes...that's the name...(it does kick ass)

Well, I know everyone is gonna kick my ass for this, but I HAVE to say,
Green Day DEFINITELY kicks ass. New or not, They are thhe berst punk band
of all time. If you dont think so, email me and we'll take it out from there!

Green Day is not "punk", Green Day is a corporate rock machine designed to
bring in your dollars. Punk is an ethic, and its future is in political
movement. Punk doesnt care what label you are on , who distributes you, who
buys your records, etc. Punk is about the ethics of the artist. Fugazi is
punk, Nirvans were too, but so are Pearl Jam. It is definitesly about doing
what is best for yourself, whether that is a productive action or a reckless
one. Greenreen Day on the other hand have been packaged by Warner Bros. to
rake in your money.
