I'd love to see a small business conference. I used to teach in the
Entrepreneurial Certification Course that the Chamber and WCC had. I'll be
glad to log in frequently.

I also would like a small business conf. This semester I have an "intro
to business" class. I'm not sure, but I think it is required that I
interview business owners :)

How many grexers are small business owners? Perhaps the idea
needs to be broader...a general "business" conf.

I'd prefer the small business conference, not a general business conference.
There are special problems of earning your living outside the corporate
salary structure that have nothing to do with corporoate business topics.

yeah i agree with evryobdy else... big buisness and small buisness
are quite different, and besides... how many people ar einvolved
with running meidum or large buisneses heree? Many more people own
and have some input into the running of, etc, small buisnesses.

Maybe "self-employed" or "entrepreneurs" would capture the flavor better.

"entrepreneur" would be a great name, except that most people can't spell
it reliably. :) "smallbusiness" can be another name for it.

I'd be glad to fairwitness the conference and agree with krj that the number
of variants on entrepreneur is almost limitless. "smallbusiness" sounds good
to me.

I would participate in a smallbusiness conference, and would be happy to be
a fairwitness. I'm glad you are going ahead with this, Valerie, and as I
mentioned, I hope to recruit some people to join.
