Like Valerie, I distinctly remember long drawn out discussions over whether
telnet/ftp/irc/etc. should actually be allowed to verified non-member users.
I distinctly remember this portion of the vote to indicate that the memebrs
thought it would be a good idea to do so, but that it is not binding, and not
guaranteed that we would do that. Hence the all important word "may" in the
expression "may be made available".

In fact, as you probably know, I oppose this idea, and always have, but we
should go on about it somewhere else. I don't think it needs to go into this
proposal.

This is an excellent piece of work, which I wish I could have contributed to.
When the time is right, the main parts of this will almost certainly deserve
a place on our web site somewhere.

Putting it on the web would be good. Then I can link it or quote it, rather
than the hodgepoge of stuff I currently have on my page about grex. :)

Hey, I *like* the hodgepodge of stuff you have on your page about Grex.
(Haven't looked at it recently, but last time I did look, it was good stuff.)

(which page did you look at?) Well, I sort of wrote it on the spure of the
moment, and I'm not sure how much of it is completely accurate. I did change
some things relating to hardware that was upgraded since I first wrote it.
I still think that something accurate and official would be better. (BTW, if
you want to se my personal views on Grex, they're there.)
