hmm, i am sorta seeing that most of the staff members and rootly people
dotn' want to give me my ryan1 account back, while most of teh regular
users want me to have it back. Interesting situation. There are a few
exceptions tho.

WHAT?! I was under the impression that you had your ryan1 account back.
I think it's definitely time to turn that account back on again, if it's
not already on.

nope, looks to me like root owns ryan1's home directory, and it is perm'd
700, so he can't get in at all.

nope, avi has recieved access to his account again, but i still
can't access mine. if i had had my ryan1 account back, i would
be posting in here with my ryan1 account.

Lemme go make sure I won't be clobbered by other staff if I turn the

I asked the staff about turning the account back on. Received silence,
except for one request to be sure Ryan says he'll behave himself
before turning the account back on. I don't think Ryan has said that,
so now I don't know what to do.

Wait for a sincere public promise from Ryan that he will not in the future
cause any problems for other grex users.

ok, this here is my "sincerre public promiste from me that i will not in the
future cause any problems for other grex sers." I regret that i did not use
better judgement. I learned a lesson and i will act more responsibly in the
future.

Ryan, I think you probably should have your account back now.
However, I am concerned about your sense of ethics regarding your
use of community computer systems like Grex. For example, I am not
sure that you don't actually believe it is OK to find ways to trick others
into allowing you to read their private files, such as mail.
If you do, I don't think it is a benefit to Grex for you to be on it,
but if you have come to understand that it is really NOT ok to do things
like that, and plan to act accordingly, then Grex will be a better place
with you on-line.
Your account is not enabled yet, but perhaps soon. What do you think about
this?

Er, I know staff is ticked with this guy but he has made a public
apology now, is further public humiliation really needed? Enough.
