The BoD Minutes will not be posted until late next week, due to me going out
of town. I really don't have the time or energy tonight to spend at least
an hour on the posting.
Sorry guys.

Re #43: Removing write permissions from the directory makes it
impossible to add (or remove) files from it. In other words,
the entry of new items is blocked at the filesystem level. The
files within the directory can still be read, written and expanded.
(The number of blatant misunderstandings of this rather simple
Unix feature surprised me. Well, maybe not rcurl's.)
This makes a great deal of sense. How meaningful is it to have
a last-item competition if there is no finality?

Much better than having a first-item competition in the current agora.

Ahh.. But can the users pek *AROUND* the filter - in order to figure out
wtf _others_ are writing about?
