Vanilla works better with lynx. One of them (pistachio) has the submit
buttons as graphics and one of my browsers does not show short Alt-tags so
I cannot read the submit links.

Well, I'm assuming that would be so: pistachio and abalone are
designed for graphical interface browsers. Lynx is a text-based
browser, so vanilla would be the logical choice.

btw, it appears that the recovery conference is about to be
revitalized. There's activity again, and there is talk about a new fw
since the last one resigned a while back.

My biggest complaint about using Lynx for stuff like that is that it handles
large text entry boxes poorly. There's no text wrapping and no vertical
scrolling.

I can set my monitor to 132 columns before using lynx but I don't think that
would fix your problem, which I presume is related to the text entry
consisting of a lot of lines to fill in such that you can only see 80
characters per line. I can arrow up and down between lines, at least. Would
it help to ask the people working on lynx to find a better method?

If you want to see more responses in pistachio, login into pistachio and
go to the entrance page. Click on "Edit Your Personal Settings". Click
on "Set options for the "jaklumen" account". The default value is 40,
but you can change it.

well, I have the highest number of responses set in pistachio-- I
think abalone gave me more, but I'd have to check.

The Enigma conference has just experienced activity in nearly
every item! Now is an ideal time to go to Enigma and read or
re-read every item in its entirety!!

I (Walter) hasn't had a chance to change the description yet, but
Inferno has been revamped as a psyche conference. Feel free to stop by
and participate. Come the summer Agora, I'll started adding linked
items to the Conference.

My guess is that someone got bored. Or excited. Take your pick. :)

You never know-- it could be a little of both, too. Or maybe one
evolved into the other.
