Slynne, my guess is that friend of yours would come in useful during a
riot. :)

Jim says to Rane about wiggling his nose: big deal. He can wiggle one ear
at a time, he has been practicing.
Does anyone else have trouble finding straw hats large enough? Bike helmets
are no problem as the pads tend to fall out anyway.

I do have trouble finding hats large enough. But the biggest trouble
is finding SOCKS large enough. Almost any place that sells men's
socks has one main size called "10-13". Those are sock sizes, not
shoe sizes, and size 13 in socks is about size 12 in shoes. Socks
any larger than "10-13" are very difficult to find -- especially dark
ones.

We find men's socks in M and L at Sam's Army Navy. I wear M and Jim wears
L. 7-10 and 11-14? They sell irregulars cheap near the cashier.
Or try online, or from a catalog.

Re #55: I didn't know this was a competition between *different* ways of
being different. Certainly Jim doesn't see to be competitive in the
same category, of nose wiggling.

resp:44 I don't live in Michigan, twinkie-- I live in Washington
State. Sunglass Hut is easy enough to come by, though.

ok, looked at the Skagen site. *sigh* Problem is I'm on a budget and
Skagen watches are a little too pricey. I'm considering maybe going a
little anachronistic and getting a pocket watch for about 1/4 that.
Trouble is, it's tough to find a pocket watch that looks good with
casual wear.

re #56: if you go to "Big and Tall" stores, most of them stock a "13-15"
(aka "king size") sock. be prepared to pay a price premium..

re: 61 -- Check out eBay. Loads of people are listing Kattegat watches as
Skagen, and they sell for about 1/3 of the Skagen price. Kattegat watches are
made by Skagen, but it's a more value-oriented brand much like the difference
between Lincoln and Mercury cars. The only ones that I'd shy away from are
ones with mesh bands. The mesh bands just barely fit my wrist.

re #38: Larry, I'd say you've overcome your severe retardation very
well. If I were you, I wouldn't even mention it if you come to run for
office again.
I have a pot belly, not uncommon for a fat sedentary man, but I had a
large belly when I was a skinny 70 pound kid in 4th grade. For me,
it's standard equipment.
