re #433 actually in the future parents will be able to pre-select certain
traits in their future baby, like hair and eye color. So we may have MORE
blondes in the future not less. Because ya know, gentlemen prefer blondes

IVVHB- my Aunt sent hubby and I a quilt for our wedding present. :) She
had waited find out what colors we liked (got the info from my mom) and
then made the quilt. :) It's absolutely gorgeous!! This is a woman who
used to make quilts professionally- she had a booth at the Ann Arbor Art
Fairs for a number of years. I'm in love with the quilt. :)

Happiness is not having to shoot the guy with the gun while at work the
other night.

I just sometimes you say things here knowing full well the reaction from many
members and then a year from now when it's getting brought up again (heck,
make it 5 years from now), you'll ask why.

That being said - I'm glad you didn't have to shoot - or get shot.

Of course, it could be the people who complain about things bru says that have
the problem...

I'm rather happy that I don't work somewhere that involves people with guns.

Okay, so some of our clients are people with guns, but they just call-
they rarely come here. :)

Where do you work Anne?
jadecat
response 450 of 563: Mark Unseen   Mar 9 21:21 UTC 2006

I'd rather not give the name, but I work for a company that provides
computer services- desktop technical support, equipment, engineering
support and networking. Generally clients call in with problems and I
get them in touch with an engineer.

The problems begin when people bring guns to the workplace where there
shouldn't be any...

I work in computers for a mid-sized bank. Seven years going, and I've
never been at a branch while it was being robbed. Came close a few
times though.

She could crochet an afghan in return... if she has time and wants to.
But that is up the Anne.

resp:454 well I'll certainly do something. Not sure about cross-stitch
though, I tend to do large projects that are a year in the creation...
