That would probably be an easy job since as far as I know, Aretha
Franklin isnt in the show.

I saw they have Stevie Wonder and they're still seeking others for the collage
performance. I've heard stories about Aretha Franklin being the biggest
cheapskate in all of Motown performers so I'd be surprised if they get
suckered into getting her.

i coldn't make the rehersal schedule (dammit!!) but a buddy of mine
did (i think). don't thnk he's recovered from what*ever* festivities
were enjoyed.

My sister was on the crew that put the stage together. I *think* she
might have been one of those people dancing in the tongue part of the
stage but I am not sure since I havent had a chance to talk to her yet.
She had a lot of rehearsals to go to, I know that and she said that she
was told that she wouldnt be able to see the game but would be on the
field during the half time show so she would be able to see the stones.
*shrug*. I didnt see her on tv although they did have a lot of camera
shots of the folks on the field.

I'm not sure if I'd want to see the Stones that close. All the makeup and
lighting kinda has a purpose.

really just that I was delighted to find poetry first
thing on looking into bbs, instead of certain other

rules nor bring to the precipice of the cliff of BAN my
good intent. I make no claims about the quality of the
writing, but I'm 96% sure I won't get banned for crummy poems.

There is a poetry conference on grex which sometimes gets some activity. You
could post an actual poem there. Those of us who dial into grex can't easily
link to URLs.
