How about a reference for killow, Kent? It's not in m-w.
(I can't score wheats until I can score killow...)

Sure. From the OED it is "A name formerly given (orig. in Cumberland)
to black-lead, plumbago, or graphite."

Boy, that one was handed to you on a plate. You're up, Kent!

Hmmm...there are a few other ".illow" words and I thought maybe
it was one of those. I just guessed pillow because I didn't
need to look it up in a dictionary. I never expected/had any
reason for it to score big. Okay, I'll try to dream up a
six-letter word by next time (it's getting more difficult).

The list of all 6-letter words used in this game may be found at
/!rcurl/l.m.words.

The beginning group is with the most recent at the top. The bottom
group is in the reverse order - and it was becoming a pain to add
words to the bottom. Is there a simple way to reorder the whole
list from most recent down?

Rane - the unix command "tac" reverses the order of the lines in a file. So
if you remove the recent block, then execute
/----------------------\
| tac <l.m.words >temp |
\----------------------/
and then put the recent block back on top, you'll be all set.
