You know . .. I'm actually not sure whether he had a hand in it
at all. Sylvia, my first name, was taken from my maternal grandmother.
I have no clue where the two middle names came from. The only name I
have from my dad is my last name, and I've been trying to get rid of
that for years. :)

If he's had problems spelling the [middle] name my family has commonly
used for nearly 26 years, there's little doubt that he'd mispell
"Bhelliom," especially since, in his defence (you never hear my say THAT
again), he's never read the book. My sister, his eldest daughter, asked
me on Monday if I'd called to wish him a happy father's day. When I said
no, she replied that she hadn't bothered either. Wow. I think they
should have a "DNA Contributors' Day" and a "Deadbeat Parents' Day"

You had to bring up the idea in public... <shakes her head> Too late
now to prevent the blitz you just mentioned...

Oh I dunno, kinda adds that nice bitter sarcastic note.

I haven't though of writing for Hallmark, but maybe selling "rant
books" would be fun.
