So I'm thinking of a six-letter word that is not

  assort 0 (lastword)

See ~gelinas/letter.match6 for the State of the Guess.

Hmmm, got it narrowed down to a couple of words. I'll take a chance that it's
the more interesting word.

pallia Plural of pallium, a special vestment woven from the wool of not
one, but two white lambs, worn by the Pope, then placed in an urn overnight
over the tomb of St. Peter, eventually given to archbishops as a symbol of
their connection to the papal throne.

My apologies if I am messing up the details, I'm Episcopalian, not Catholic.

I guess I don't choose "interesting" words. You're up, Kent. :)

Yeah, my next guess after that would have been llamas... ;-)

Nah, just that pallia was "more" interesting than dahlia. :)

I was kinda hoping pallia (or llamas) was the word...oh well,
I try to have a new word in mind next time I'm logged on.

Thanks for the reminder. Been working too much overtime lately.
Anyway, I'm thinking of a 6-letter word that is not:

  dahlia 0 (The Previous Word)
