Let's see if we can't put him out of his misery:

  cranch 6 (gelinas) ---> Ding! Ding! Ding! Winner!

Yay!  Your word, Joe.

  Cranch \Cranch\ (kr?nch), v. t.
     See {Craunch}.

  Craunch \Craunch\ (kr?nch), v. t. & i. [imp. & p. p. {Craunched}

So I'm thinking of a six-letter word that is not

  cranch  0  (lastword)

No, dcat, you can't. We usually score only one guess per person per
scoring session. Also, we do not score two guesses for the same person
back to back. That is, we have to wait for someone else to guess before
we guess again. Exception: if the number of players is really low,
and no one guesses for a couple of days, the last guesser can go again.
I've not checked recently, but I think the rules are in the item text.
