I like the word-- has different meanings than 'engulfed'.

Zowie, zoe, how do you manage to write such disturbing stuff? I haven't been
near this angsty in years.

Why..? how old are you, zoe?

I would suppose there is a difference in seeing things as they are and
things as they can be. The latter is often an inspiration for change.

I don't guess people's ages in cyberspace, Zoe-- there is too little
evidence of age here besides stereotypes. I'm frequently surprised at
what I find. I wouldn't know, because my guess could be totally off.

lets just say that i'm far <extremely far> from my death bed and most
people my age lack feeling, a realistic approach, and complete mind...

thats rather obvious...

What's wrong with you people?

Don't you know it's impolite to ask a lady how old she is?

brighn
response 23 of 25: Mark Unseen   Feb 26 16:17 UTC 1999

It's not impolite when they bring the topic up... zoe said, "people tell me
its [that is, her ability to write angst] my age." I think it's fair to ask
what her age is, given that statement.

It's impolite to keep pressing the issue when somebody has declind to answer
a question, though, which she's done, so can we all move along now?
