Deja vu. Geez...I don't think I've ever seen the word "proffered" used
so much in one sentence...

devoir (civility)

Doh! Three possibilities, and I picked the two that weren't it.
What is "desoil", anyway?

Desoil is under defeet, I guess. :-) I admit to being too lazy to verify
the existence of "desoil" before scoring it. Meanwhile, Rane won the war of
attrition and is therefore entitled to carry on!

BTW, Rane, take a look at this:

Respond or pass? !more ~rcurl/*
~rcurl/*: No such file or directory

This suggests that you don't have the "rules" and "words" files permitted
properly for us to read 'em?

response 259 of 1012: Mark Unseen   Jul 28 20:54 UTC 1997

I can read them - I just did a
        !cat ~rcurl/lettermatch.rules
and it worked fine.

I just did !cat ~aruba/letter.match, with no problem. Must be your shell.

Yep, I responded in agora/sysprobs about ~rcurl not working for me while
/a/r/c/rcurl worked fine. Sorry for the distraction.
