Isn't the Verve Pipe from Kalamazoo and not E. Lansing?

Last I heard, they were from East Lansing. I'll check with
Lansing resident brighn to confirm.

New Throwing Muses CD out called "Limbo," it's terrific and I
would think so if I hadn't been following the Muses for years. Other
faves include the new Groove Collective (acid jazz without samples).
I also listen to everything from Bartok to John Coltrane to World music
to punk.

Yes, Verve Pipe should be from E. Lansing. I recall hearing how they were
a local "supergroup" made up of members from other locally hot bands.

I am drowning in new music. I came back from our trip with about
nine new CDs, and there was a box waiting for me when I got home.
(Void, your Steeleye Span CDs are in.)
And, I have just learned that one of the women singers from
the Swedish folk-rock band Hedningarna has a solo CD out.
