Hmmmmmm, methinks that something I said somewhere triggered #0 .....
Is this a problem, not now. Is this a potential, yes. Is this
worthy of concern, not now. Could a Grex-ocracy stifle a hostile
takeover in the manner described, yes. Could the aforementioned
tactic be "bought out" by others currently on the system, sure.
This sort of situation is the kind of mine-experiment for which
Mr. Einstein became famous. (I *really* meant to type "mind-experiment,"
really, really, I did.)

Nope, 'twasn't you who inspired this item. It's something I'd been
mildly concerned about for a few years. This item was also inspired by
something ajax said recently.

This is the most paranoid excercise in coop discussion I've yet to see.
Takeover, indeed..

Didn't you hear that Kervorkian has made an offer for all outstanding
shares of Grex, so he can name an automobile that?

Why would Dr. Death be naming cars? Rane, it was past your bedtime when
you wrote that one. (I don't know how to spell the name of the guy who's
trying to buy Chrysler, either.)

Kerkorian, I think. I got confused between my Armenians. It was past
my bedtime, as you observed. I am sometimes surprised to read my
posts the next day 8-p.

No! No! No! -- Kervorkian and Iatollah want to buy Grex! A "Kerkorian"
is a form of chant, often performed by the famous "Kerkorian Monks",
headquartered in Birmingham. Dave is right - sleep - sleep.

Isn't that a "Gregorian" chant? - something one of our staff does to
keep the system running?

Gregorian, Stevorian, and Valorian chants all have their uses on Grex.

The doctor's name is "Kevorkian". No one has spelled it right.
Rane did get Kerkorian right in #36, though.

Like the comment in #46? Actually, it is all quite sane, but it is not
greatly relevant at this particular time.

I wouldn't say that it is ALL sane... but then, I don't think that this
item really needed to be made, except to convince popcorn she had
nothing to worry about (er, has).
