RYOOHKI could also be an alternative spelling of Ryukyu, the island chain that

We actually saw a car with two Washington state licence plates.

I saw what _looked_ like a Michigan 'bridge' plate on the front of a car:
U OF M #1
It lacked the bridge, though. The rear plate was a normal bridge plate.
Yesterday, we saw the Michigan plate BAT FAN.

She is, but this was weird. The car had a license plate in the usual
spot, and then another plate bolted onto the frame (trunk) just above
it. Had DLR on the side by the number.

You sure that one was bolted on? Sounds likea dealer who hadn't gotten the
original plate off yet, but slapped one of their magnetic plate holders on
in the meantime.
