Brenner, you're so very ladylike. Leering come ons deftly deflected. I guess
we'll just have to revert to original plan. Lunch in public with a chaperone.
(If that's misspelled, just pronounce the last 'e' as 'a' and pretend it's
Italian.)

You are quite the gentleman, mr. Clyne. I will refrain from my
usual editing, WHY? Because none of the editors have cared to
join us. No fun.
What's a writer without a few editors to bash?

Hell, what's an editor without writers for fodder? For their whole
existence, for that matter.
Their loss. Now all they can do is edit themselves (using one hand only).

gracious, I meant.
I'm not sure we really want to play this game.
Not unless I can figure out how the editor works.

We have <nephi>, the occasional <raven>, and the even more
occasional <mdw>. We need more authentic Grex people here.
We must not allow this conference to languish as a Well
expatriate ghetto. <humdog>, you've got work to do.
And Brenner, thanks for the :ed lesson. Look ma, no typots.

Actually there is another local thingy called "M-net" wherein the real
flame warriors are said to live. I have never been there. I live on
Grex instead, where all the peace-lovers who left M-net now make their
community.
And you didn't mention me!

I don't speak this dialect of pico. I can't check out
<helmke>. I'm real pleased to be on the more peaceful
of the alternative Michigan nets. I'm real pleased
that <helmke>'s on this net too. Now someone please
tell me if I'm coming on to a male or a female. Or
is this net so peaceful it doesn't really matter?
