(You can be sure I have a reference for 'zariba'. You might look
it up under 'zareba'. My dictionary, Wb 9th Coll, shows 'zaribah'
as the Arabic form.)

laxest 6 (rcurl) why the "?", Rane, it's a fine word. You're up!
My first guess is "laxest"

The ? was a note of humility, since aruba set it up for whoever was
in the right place at the right time. But, "Plough deep while sluggards
sleep." (Benjamin Franklin)  8=>.
So, I'm thinking of a 6 letter word, and

I have noticed that it is common for Rane to be the one who comes up
with my words. This is probably due to my tendency to post answers
just before I go to sleep, and Rane is one of the few who outlasts me
into the night.

I have noticed that Steve tries to pick words, none of whose
letters have been guessed yet.

Sorry - I meant "appals". (I wrote it right on my sheet!) I'd guess that
now, but I can't go :(
