that's what it seems to me what wavestar is saying: that we are to play as
if we were in a medieval court, but only using'acceptable' roles...

Wavestar, I *do* possess a sword- a real sword, forged in Ireland in
        the
1300's. Would THAT qualify? And if so, as I cannot truly show it to you
over this medium, what of the imaginary ones? I'd say they have as much
validity here as mine, seeing as there is no difference in cyberspace.

So, who's to call it believeable? If WE believe it, or what?

Believable roles? There are always going to be people who don't believe in
the roles of others. So what do we do?

If you guys would stop being insulted for a moment and listen...(and insulting
them is not going to help them understand, fuzzy.0
jwp- freelancing and bringing light to our savage and depressing world
is what you do with your life. Whether you refer to what you are
fighting against as the dark citidel in normal conversation or not,
this is what you do. Am I
right? I daydrea, but this court is NOT a daydream. This is no more a land of
make believe than the SCA, but it is less serious, and more oriented towar fun
and slight silliness. Is it so impossible in your minds that we are all lords
and ladies, knights in shining armor, just because we don't have the right
costumes? What this court is is an attempt to bring back the old chivalrous
part of all of us. It matters all the more in cyberspace, more than anywhere
else, because we are all just words to each other, and it is so much more
difficult to be ourselves. The Court began when our dear fuz claimed that he
could be a better king than henry IV. I told him I would give him achance.
This is his chance. had he claimed that he could be a better Prince of the
VApmires, it would have been different. He was comparing himself to a king who
actually walked on this earth. This earth, not another one, not the land of
Faerie, but this Earth, in Engalnd, in the Middle Ages. We modeled this court
as a cross between the real courts of the Middle Ages, the Art Room, and the
Castle (which is a real hope and dream in the making) that we all hope to live
in some day. Seeing it trivialized and role-played (which is different than
alter self played, which is yourself had you been born in another place and
another time) is what hurts. Selena, you are an Enchantress, or at least a
Wiccan, in real life (off the computer) Obviously, in the middle ages, you
would have been burned as a witch had you practiced Wicca. the court is all of
the good things about the Middle

Ages, none of the bad, and fun, imagination, and philosophy thrown in. The only
roles you are asked to play are the ones you were born in.Take this court as it
was meant, or it means nothing. If filling this role is beyond what you really
think and feel and are, than Fuz court is not for you. i have faith that
there is a witty, funloving, real, and serious and thoughtful lord or lady or
knight or commander in each of you: born there. Be that. i have explained
this the best I can. this is Fuzcourt, as it was designed, and as i see it. i
hope you understand. May fuzcourt livew forever, whatever you see it as.

our ladyship said it all.. and beter than i ever could. thank you, mama!

this is an extension of the noble side of all of us.... if you think you
should have been born an elf, BE ONE HERE. if you are underhanded, ask to
be a spy. if noble, ask for land title. do you see?

it isnt really a game. it is makebelieve, with the emphasis on the believe!

i want you all to stay, but each "seven point merit" stings my pride.
i have played straight roleplaying games and love them one and all...
but that is not what i am trying to build here.

please understand! and please, have a cup of stew.

Well I was born a light adherant thank you...and Is it so hard in your
mindto see that I am a light adherant? thus I do pratice Faith Magick And
Ceribrial to boot also...And that is not a role-playing system mock
up...that's the forms of magick that I have found to exist...You may thik
me insane and that's fine....because I've seen what little I can do so far
as proof to me and that's all that really matters honestally...But I would
like to add the fact that The Dark Citidel was a dream of mine...my item
says so...and that is all...the enemy's name is malice...Reality is not
always as we perceive it to be...
