When I refer to one sub-topic "overwhelming" a conference, what I
mean is that other discussions seem out of place there. If scripting
discussions are the main focus of the jellyware conference, people might
react oddly or hostilely to items about other subjects such as Unix
internals which aren't scripting.

I have not received a response from mdw and can't finger
quince.ifs.umich.edu to see when he last read his mail. Since I don't
want to post this many items in jellyware without talking to him, I have
decided to have this conference created. On a trial basis, anyway.
I have ten items ready now and should have several more by the end of
the weekend. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.
