*cackles maniacally and throws side orders of Mac&cheese

So I've been thinking about this PFC program thing. I'd be embarrassed to
give out a booklet with a $60 membership; it's too small. But if we gave out
a booklet (maximum of one per person) with any size membership, even a $6 one,
then I think it would be a worthwhile thing. What do other folks think?

how about with a 3-month membership .. or on the receipt of the 3rd
month's donation? Three months also confers voting privileges. I think
one month is just a bit short.

Maybe, but a booklet is a bit small.

RE #35: Tsty, the Bill of Rights IS part of the Constitution, or at least the
last time I checked my history books, it was.

We could argue semantics there, as to whether amendments to a document
become part of that document... but that would be pointless and off-topic. =}

The Bill of Rights is just the first ten ammendments, adopted very soon after
the Constitution was. The rest of the ammendments, which were spread out over
the next 200 years, are not part of the Bill of Rights.

Did somebody suggest otherwise, Steve?

(Perhaps TS meant that the booklet wasn't quite as large as the Constitution
with *all* the ammendments, just the first ten. Some of those later
ammendments are rather lengthy, you know . . . 8^)

re 39:
I think I saw somebody suggest back there somewhere that the Bill of
Rights was the part of the Constitution that had evolved over the last 200
years.

Um, I guess Toasty's original comment on this thread could be taken
that way, although I hadn't...

right, length/size versus importance.
