There're a couple of good overview books to look at. Try Adler's
"Drawing Down the Moon." Avoid Luhrman!

hey... all you peolpe... I hate to be the onre saying this, but so many people
have been asking for titled in volving magic that we need to make something
clear. NO magic. Please. PLease, please please. no magic. this is for a couple
of reasons.\ 1. Lets not offend anyone, like those for whom magic is really a
part of life with the fairy tale stuff. 2. This is based in everyday reality.
Honest. There is a Blade of Truth, A staff of might, and if you are down as
weilding something, please have something tangible if you can. This is not a
fantasy escape world, or wasn't supposed to be,. Get back to me with any
responses or opinions. By the way, please no religion past thre Orders, either.
A movement to disband the origional religon the court had, the tTemple of the
Electron, is underfoot. Thanks, All.

I am trying to get a handle on things....there is no magic here and this is
seimi real? If I say I have a sword I sould at least have a stick? Is this
